Introduction
At the DIATER Group, composed of Laboratorios DIATER Spain, Portugal and Germany, dedicated to the manufacture of biopharmaceutical products, and Allergen Servilab, specializing in the production of raw materials for the preparation of allergenic extracts, we aim to build a better society together, considering the protection of our environment. Therefore, we workday by day, and for this reason, we have a commitment to sustainable development within our business model.
Thus, we seek to have a business model focused on the protection of health, safety, and the environment, as well as centered on compliance with all applicable standards and the highest ethical and conduct standards. For this reason, the DIATER Group is committed to providing healthy and safe working conditions for its employees, a responsible governance model, and an environmental model committed to continuous improvement. We aim for a preventive approach, fostering responsibility at all levels, and working to spread this perspective through the products and services we offer, also involving our contractors, and promoting its dissemination to our business environment, including customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Principles of Action
- Maintain fluid communication with authorities, local communities, and society in general, promoting transparency and responding positively to the information demands of our stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with suppliers and customers to maximize the results of actions and shared sustainability objectives.
- Work with all stakeholders to promote awareness that favors the growth and maturity of the culture of respect and environmental protection, regulatory compliance, and an optimal work environment.
- Collaborate in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations, particularly those related to improving access to health, creating sustainable industries and communities, responsible consumption, decent work and economic growth, and gender equality.
- Ensure compliance with applicable environmental and energy legislation and regulations in our activities, as well as other commitments signed by the DIATER Group.
- Incorporate sustainability criteria into our strategic planning, with the aim of developing, maintaining, and improving the environmental behavior of the organization.
- Apply principles and good environmental practices in our actions as part of our commitment to fighting climate change.
- Project our commitment to the environment both internally and externally, raising awareness among our staff for the conservation and protection of the environment, promoting active participation.
- Define objectives for the environmental management of our work centers and the environmental management of our activity, establish action plans to achieve them, and monitor them.
- Prevent pollution by continuously identifying and evaluating the environmental aspects derived from the company's activity, such as energy and water consumption, pollutant emissions into the atmosphere, and waste generation as the most prominent.
- Manage our waste sustainably, continuing our collaboration with SIGRE, and expanding our participation in extended producer responsibility systems in the future.
- Foster respect for individuals, their integrity, and dignity, ensuring that the work environment and relationships between employees are free from discrimination or harassment.
- Promote equal opportunities among employees, as well as non-discrimination and respect for diversity, with no discrimination for reasons of gender, sexual orientation, marital status, ethnicity, nationality, religious, philosophical, or political beliefs.
- Reject all behaviors that may constitute harassment, always ensuring the protection of victims. This commitment to zero tolerance for discrimination or harassment extends to all employees, who must ensure they do not occur and report them if detected.
- It is expected that all DIATER employees, collaborators, and executives will demonstrate integrity, ethics, and honesty in performing their professional duties, in line with the Company's standards.
- Conduct contrary to these principles will not be accepted and may result in disciplinary and corrective measures.
The DIATER Group will promote the principles and objectives set out in this Policy, which will be reviewed and updated by the DIATER Group's Compliance Committee, which will also ensure its compliance at all levels.
