What is the Ethical Channel?
It is one of the central pillars of our compliance and business integrity model. It is an independent and confidential mechanism designed to facilitate communication of any concerns related to ethics and compliance with legality or any mandatory standards, including our voluntary commitments. This channel is a testament to our determination to act with integrity and respond appropriately to any concerns raised.
To ensure our commitments, users of the Channel have the following rights and obligations:
- Confidentiality: In the Ethical Channel, privacy and confidentiality are inviolable. The informant's identity will be kept strictly confidential at all stages of the process and at all levels. It is also necessary for the informant to respect this principle. Anonymous reports are accepted, although it is recommended that the informant identifies themselves in case contact is needed.
- Protection against Retaliation: We guarantee that the informant is protected from any retaliation that may arise as a result of their communication. Their integrity and well-being are our primary concerns.
- Receiving a Response: Each communication and inquiry we receive will be handled according to our procedures. We commit to providing responses within three months of receipt (or six months in cases of more complex inquiries).
- Truthful Information and Informant Commitment: To ensure effective evaluation, Channel users must provide all the information they know truthfully and completely. Additionally, any evidence that can support the communication will be very useful. Honesty is key to this process.
- Acting in Good Faith: All communications submitted must be made in good faith. We believe in the importance of addressing any concern fairly and ethically, and we expect the same from those who use our Channel.
